Okay I have a hubby a four year old and a 7 month old. They are all little piggies. I am always cleaning, well I mean all day running around. my house is not that big, but is a 4 bed 2 bath(1400sq ft), but I cannot seem to get my tasks done. here are my questions:

1. what time you you get up to start cleaning?

2. when do you start making dinner?

3. How many loads of laundry do you do (fam of 4)?

I breastfeed too and use some cloth diapers, plan on making more. but even before the diapers i still wash everyday. my girlfriend says she washes once a week, yea right how can you pull that off?
wedding countdown timer

I am a Flash developer WAHM of an 18 month old. I try and limit his media, but on days like this (bitter cold) we do poke around on the internet together. Every now and then I am frustrated because something I think SHOULD exist, shouldn’t. Like, I can’t find a simple web page with pictures of animals and when you click on them it shows the word for the animal and has a sound effect that the animal would make. So, since I’m a Flash developer (and most of such internet widgets are done in flash) I decided I would just make one.

So it occurred to me to ask, what little internet gadget, a bit educational, do you wish existed for you to look at and play with with your child? Because I think I’ll devote some time to making some and I was looking for ideas (not a get rich quick scheme for me, at best a portfolio builder.)

If you don’t know exactly what I mean by “Flash” – the website starfall.com is basically a collection of flash animations.
godaddy coupon code

I am a WAHM. I used to just go into work a few nights a week and was only there for a few minutes. Recently we have been super busy so I have been helping out more. So I basically am gone as soon as hubby gets home and of course it is dinner time. I have only been gone every night for the last 2 weeks and it seems to me as if Cade wont eat for daddy. He has always been a good and big eater. I dont know f he is not eating dinner because I am not there, or he doesnt want to eat for daddy or he isnt hungry.

Today he had:

Breakfast:

A bowl of oatmeal
half a banana

snack: a piece of raisin bread

Lunch
Salad w/ turkey
yogurt

Snack:
a few cheerios before I left- but not many

Dinner –
he wouldnt eat for daddy

I know in the past when he has been given new food to try he would never accept it from anyone but me. Also, the dinners are things he likes and enjoys eatng. I am just trying to figure out if it is daddy or what! I am at a loss. What are your opinions? Do you have a toddler that only eats for you? Any suggestions?

Or do you think he just may not be hungry and is getting too filled up during the day?
Daddy doesnt give him any snacks/junk if he doesnt eat. He knows better! lol He will still give him his drink and he is always more than happy to drink it.
Emmas mom- He is a finger feeder. ver few things we spoon feed him. Thats why I am sooooo confused.
spring wedding favors

Except for a few months after my maternity leave ended (when my son was watched by my husband and sister) I have been home with my 18 month old full time since he was born, basically. I am pretty proud of this – working out the finances, getting my head into the game for all that full-time parenting requires. Not to knock people with kid’s in daycare (some of my closest friends have kids in daycare and they are great kids) but I think this kind of parenting has been great for my son – he’s a healthy, confident little boy.

The way we’ve managed this financially is in part due to the fact that I freelance from home as a Flash developer. Since the summer I have been building this little “hobby” up to the point where there is a potential that even when my son goes to school, I won’t need to go get a full-time job – I think I might be able to work from home and make decent money. It’s an amazing prospect.

In order to do this, I need to keep building my clients, portfolio, etc. Also, it’s wintertime and I’m getting a little stir-crazy – I really love working. Usually I work during my son’s naps, after he goes to bed and weekends. It’s a little chaotic.

I am thinking about organizing some childcare. I don’t think either my son nor I would be happy if I dropped him off at a day care all day. So I am thinking about some kind of babysitter, in my house, while I work in the other room. Basically hiring some nice girl to play with my son for half the day, a day or two a week and make him lunch. I am absolutely not sure that at 18 months my son will go for this AT ALL. I really don’t know. If he freaks out and hates it, I’ll just want to cancel the whole idea. I’m not going to sit in my bedroom and work and listen to him scream – I’d be miserable too.

The only babysitters we’ve had were when he was sleeping and that has only been a handful of times and always a relative or friend.

If you have a toddler, and you stayed home with them, at what point do you think they “got” having a babysitter/ part time nanny? Should I wait a year? I just don’t want to abruptly undo everything I’ve worked so hard to do.
vegas wedding favors
