Being punctual is one of the key ingredients in meeting our goals and objectives, for us to accomplish our set tasks and objectives, we need to be punctual and keep to set times, being punctual portrays us as someone that is serious minded and tells others that we are fully aware of the gravity of the task at hand and we’re prepared to handle it with a good measure of timing and diligence.

Being punctual, also shows we have respect for people and that we value the presence and appointments, when an employer calls you up for an interview and you show up late, automatically, what you are telling him/her is that “do not expect me to arrive early to work, because I’m fond of not keeping up with my schedules and appointments”; surely lateness in whatever guise is a put off any day to anybody and a lot of people detest it.

Being punctual also gives an indication of our ability to complete tasks given to us at the set times, we all want to deal with an individual that when you tell him 7:00am, you can go to sleep comfortably, knowing fully well he/she will be there on or before 7:00am with the completed task you’ve assigned to the individual to accomplish.

Thus, how can one be punctual?, with the advent of information and communication technology, we as humans can now keep to set times and appointments, most (if not all) mobile phones today come with organizers and applications for reminders, thus we can always update and keep abreast of upcoming events, tasks and goals. Some mobile phones also come with internet applications, thus one can always check his/her e-mail messages while on the move.

Furthermore, being punctual also requires a good measure of discipline, once we can discipline ourselves, being punctual automatically becomes second nature to us, we’ll start to do it without being propelled, cajoled or toasted into doing it.

Finally, the God that created the universe, is an orderly God, everything from sowing, to reaping, from fertilization to conceiving, from youth to old age is set according to time, and since we are created in his image and likeness, within us is the ability for us to be punctual, we just have to take a conscious effort to make it manifest for the world to see. You are a success, you were created a success and in Jesus name you will always be a success to everyone around you.
