Many people make the choice to stay at home with their kids. This is obviously a wonderful opportunity that so many of us would love to have. But there’s no denying that leaving a job to be at home means a big change in lifestyle.
I’ve been both a working mom and a SAHM. I’m currently a SAHM and have been for over a year. Thanks for the group invite. I’ll check it out.
I am a SAHM and I will check out your site.
Thanks, I will check it out.
Just wanted to add – I know how you feel when you say you feel like your talking less to the outside world. If you are looking for some things to do in your area – Check out your local library and find out what is going on for play groups, music/story times. Also call you counties Partnership for children, children’s resource center or Family infant preschool program (FIPP) they have playgroups, field trips, etc… Also MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) meet at local churches. The children go to childcare while the moms meet and eat!

you might also check out MeetUps.com which can be even better if you are in a city area. Meetup with other people in the same position who desperately need a chance to get out and meet with real people once in awhile.
I feel disappointed that SAHD (stay at home dads) is so often left out but I do understand why mixing them is usually not a good idea.
I’m a Work At Home Mom and could use some more social interaction! Thanks for the tip!
